  • August 20, 2024

Belfast, MAINE –  In partnership with Torchlight Media, award-winning songwriters Sara Trunzoand Tiffany Williams, on tour in Maine from Nashville, are offering a Song Clinic for songwriters of all levels on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 4:00PM - 8:00PM, during which participants will get two-on-one feedback, analysis, and support for one of their songs, followed by an informal song circle for all participants from 8:00 - 9:00PM.

Participants are invited to sign up for a 25-minute individual session in which they will play a song for Trunzo and Williams, share written lyrics, and receive both initial reactions, deeper inquiry into songwriting decisions, and a syllable-by-syllable review of the work. Songwriters will also have a chance to describe any puzzles or problems they are having with the song and will be offered some alternate approaches, language decisions, or melodic directions. They may go home with reflections that can be used to bring the song to fulfillment, or they might just button it up during the session. The 8PM song circle will be an informal opportunity to gather with all participants and share either the songs they were working on during the session, or another song. Sara and Tiffany will also share a song during this time.

Pre-registration is required. Participant fee is $50. Full information and a registration form are available at: https://www.saratrunzo.com/songclinicseptember6
