Sound, Spectacle, and Situation at an Exhibition

Salazar is now showing, his painting “Gnomes” at the University of Maine Farmington Art Gallery (Feb 13 March 27 Title of this group art Show is: “Sound, Spectacle, and Situation at an Exhibition.” Gnomes was painted by Salazar to accompany Professor Steve Paine' s piano recital of Mussorgsky's “Pictures at an Exhibition;” this performance is to be held on March 26 .
The show "call for work" requested art in any form that used music as a point of departure "to generate a response, challenge, variation, or remix across modes of mediums." This exhibition at the Art Gallery at the University of Maine, Farmington will also have the Trustee Professirship of musicolgist and pianist Steven Paine. Profesor Paine will give a piano recital of Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" on March 26th. Salazar collaborated with Steve.
