As the founder of ArtWaves, Liz has been instrumental in fostering a vibrant arts community, offering classes and workshops in various mediums, including oil painting, glass, fiber, and printmaking. 

Liz's artistic journey is influenced by the contrasts and reflections found in the landscapes surrounding Acadia National Park. Her paintings often capture moments that invite viewers to linger and experience the inherent beauty of these natural scenes. With a B.A. in Painting from Swain School of Design and a Master's from Heartwood College of Art, Liz brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her teaching. She continues her practice through figure drawing, workshops, and critiques, working from her personal studio at the ArtWaves farmhouse.
