We kick off the 20th Annual Belfast Poetry Festival with a reception and reading featuring Maine poets living in and outside Waldo County. In addition to poets Beatrix Gates, Megan Berman, Paul McFarland, and Eleanor Cade Busby, the event features a cross-genre quintet consisting of poets Jeri Theriault, Bob Carr, and Betsy Scholl, along with cellist Phil Carlsen and flutist Carl Dimow. The reception opens at 6 p.m. Readings will begin at 6:45 p.m.
