Create colorful printed banners using common garden vegetables—perfect for decorating with handmade art inspired by the harvest season! This week, we'll hear My Language is Garden by E.G. Alaraj.

This program is free and open to all ages and experience levels. All materials will be provided. In the event of rain or extreme heat, Art in the Park will move indoors at the Paul J. Schupf Art Center.

What is Art in the Park?
Waterville Creates, Waterville Public Library, and the Colby College Museum of Art join forces to offer dynamic, creative summer programming and provide arts experiences for all. Each Thursday participants at Art in the Park can listen as a book is read aloud and create artwork based on that book or community theme. Art in the Park 2026 is sponsored by Kennebec Savings Bank, City of Waterville, Harold Alfond Foundation and Allen Insurance.
