Sculpting Our Surroundings

The work of exhibiting artist Sachiko Akiyama reflects that where we live influences how we live our lives. Elements of nature that surround us inspire our relationship to object and place. Participants will choose an element in the landscape and a favorite animal to create a hybrid clay sculpture. Bring along photos to inspire your art, if desired.
