About the Instructor

Jennifer Peppe’s adventures as an art educator began in 1996. She launched her career with a B.F.A. from University of North Carolina at Greensboro then earned a Master of Art Education at Kean University. She expanded her skillsets and cultural experiences throughout her career via study, traveling and teaching abroad. Decades of work with creative learners of all ages and abilities has strengthened her commitment to sharing art with others. After teaching art in an urban, suburban, public school, she has followed her love of art and nature and landed in midcoast Maine.

About Midcoast Villager

The Midcoast Villager is the paper of record for Knox and Waldo Counties. We believe that community news has a bigger role to play than simply keeping the public informed—it’s about connecting people to their neighbors and the places they call home.

Built on 196 years of local journalism, the Villager serves Midcoast Maine with the latest news, in-depth solutions-based journalism, profiles of our community members, arts and culture coverage, and voices and opinions from across the region.

We publish a weekly newspaper—it comes out on Thursdays and you can always get one at the Villager Cafe’s newsstand–as well as daily news and life coverage at midcoastvillager.com. The Villager Cafe is a community hub in Midcoast Maine, serving breakfast and lunch year-round, making the Cafe a great place to connect, share ideas, and attend events.
