In Calligraphic Page Design, we will explore calligraphic mark making, using a collection of simple tools with India Ink. Joelle will guide the class through the basics of broad edged toolsm as well as Eastern pointed brushes. Discussing page design from a calligraphic and book arts perspectives. Exploring lyrical & sticcato marks, that can be used in pattern or illustrative ways on the page. Towards the end of the session we will shape useful boxes to see these papers come to life.
