Haystack Make + Take: Fun with Pulp
- Date: March 27, 2026
- Time: 05:30 PM - 07:30 PM
- Location: Haystack's Center for Community Programs, Deer Isle
Get your hands into paper in this playful, tactile introduction to pulp forming and mold making. Participants will work with paper pulp and simple molds to create their own shapes, textures, and small sculptural forms. We’ll explore how wet pulp behaves, how molds can guide structure, and how simple tools can transform recycled paper into something entirely new.
This accessible, experimental session is a gentle introduction to material process and form—equal parts messy, creative, and surprising. Participants will leave with their own pulp creations and a fresh appreciation for the possibilities of paper as a sculptural material.
All levels welcome; all materials provided. Register at haystack-mtn.org/winter-programs.
