Benefit for Bonney Memorial Library's Building Renovation/Expansion

Kate Beever MA, MT-BC, is originally from Maine. As a child she loved going to Bonney Memorial Library and was an avid reader. She received her B.A. from U.S.M. School of Music majoring in percussion. Kate went on to earn her M.A. in Music Therapy from New York University in 2010.  She returned to Maine and founded Maine Music & Health.

Along with her work as a Music Therapist, Kate continues to work as a free-lance percussionist and keyboardist performing with the Zach Jones Band, Sunset Hearts, Bates Orchestra, and with John C. McCain in a vibraphone/electric guitar duo.

John C. McCain is a master musician who has been playing and teaching guitar for over 30 years.  He has recorded with guitarists such as Richard Thompson, Raymond Kane and Henry Kaiser and toured in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.  John has a deep understanding of music in all its forms.  He composes and records his own music in addition to improvising in any genre.
