Lost boy Found In Whole Foods tells the story of a young African immigrant as his life intersects with a middle-aged American, white woman. Finding Gabriel working in the produce section of Whole Foods, Christine is moved by the young man’s story of the trauma he survived as a “lost boy” of the Sudan civil war. She invites him into her home to live with her and her teenage daughter. The play explores what can happen when we open ourselves up to another human being.
