Join counter/current:collective once again on an adventurous theatrical experience that's not to be missed! Featuring Artistic Director John Jurcheck and Company Member Madeline Bugeau-Heartt, and directed by Producing Director Courtney Hayes, this dazzling freight-train of a piece spans the surprising lifecycle of a couple's relationship.
Held in secret spots in Downtown Belfast, audience members will find out the location of their performance the day before the show. All locations are within walking distance from Main Street, and most performances will be held outside. Outdoor locations are ADA accessible; please contact us prior to booking tickets so we can accommodate you. Please be prepared with layers, rain gear, bug spray, sturdy shoes and water. Bring a cushion if sitting on a metal chair is uncomfortable for you.
Lungs will open Friday August 8th, 2025, and run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 7:30pm through September 7th. The performance runs about 80 minutes. There is no intermission. Keeping with our mission, we will hold a post-show discussion after each performance.
Please note this play has adult language and themes throughout, and deals with topics including sex, preganancy and miscariage; suitable for ages 17 and up with parental discretion. Please contact us with any questions or concerns. We will be happy to talk with you about the play!
