Maine State Ballet has the perfect antidote to the winter doldrums with its performances of "Tap, Tap, Jazz" at Maine State Ballet Theater in Falmouth January 23-24.

Over 40 of Maine State Ballet’s top dancers will kick off the new year with this high energy performance of tap and jazz perfect for all ages.

 “Tap, Tap, Jazz” will have three shows: Friday, January 23 at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, January 24 at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. All shows will take place at the Maine State Ballet Theater located at 348 U.S. Route 1, Falmouth, Maine.

Maine State Ballet, based in Falmouth, Maine, is one of New England’s leading performing arts institutions and recently named Maine’s Best Dance Group by Downeast Magazine. Its two components are the School for the Performing Arts, offering instruction in ballet, tap, jazz and other dance styles to more than 500 children and adults; and the Maine State Ballet Company, comprised of more than 25 professional dancers. Maine State Ballet is a nonprofit organization.
