Author Laura Krieger Emack plans to read from two recently-published novellas, each inspired by a special female friend from Bangor who left us too soon.

One Wish:  A Tale of Reckoning After 9-11 happens in the author's hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Attorney Sandra must care for her ailing sister-in-law while brother Greg conducts a high-profile investigation overseas.

Twins:  A Coming-of-Age Novella is told from alternating viewpoints on a collision course during one unforgettable night in Bangor and north thereof.

An informal talkback will follow the presentation. Expect engaging conversation,  light refreshments, and a door prize or two.
