- Date: March 20, 2021
- Time: 04:00 PM - 05:00 PM
- Location: University of Southern Maine, Franco-American Collection, Lewiston

March 20, 4 pm-5 pm, to celebrate International Francophonie Day, the Franco-American Collection is excited to host Fabrice Jaumont, Ph.D, Education Attaché for the French Embassy, in a talk about his book, The Bilingual Revolution: The Future of Education is in Two Languages. The book details case studies of dual-language programs that have been developed in the United States, and gives recommendations for parents and educators who want to create a similar, bilingual program. According to Conor Williams, from New America’s Education Policy Program, the book "stands on the edge of the nascent bilingual revolution running through the United States' school system and asks how it might be improved and encouraged."
