The Maine Museum of Photographic Arts will open two new exhibits on August 7th.

The first exhibit is: The Holy Cow Portfo;io by Melonie Bennett. The photographs are from an upcoming book that offers a playfull yet poignant journey through 20 years of family photographs taken by Bennett between 1990 and 2011. They portray a rollercoaster of human life with honesty and warmth.

The second exhibit is:: "Investigations into the Metaphysical which includes matters such as feratures of reality, including existance, objects and their properties, possibility and necessity, space and time, change, causation, and the relation between matter and mind.

The exbiti will feature 17 artists.

There will be an artist talk on Friday August 212st from 5 pm to 8 pm.

The Holy Cow exhibit will feature a reading and book signing on Friday September 18, from 5[m to 8 pm
