WESTERN MAINE INDEPENDENT WOODWORKERS 10-day SHOWCASE 2026

This special event brings together an outstanding group of western Maine woodworkers, artists, and artisans to showcase skill, craftsmanship, and the rich tradition of rural making.
From furniture making and woodcarving to luthiery, blacksmithing, painting, framing, and chainsaw carving, this 10-day showcase celebrates the work of makers whose practices are rooted in both artistry and craft!
This joyful collaboration between Tear Cap Workshops and Denmark Arts Center honors the spirit of past gatherings while looking ahead to future ones. The event is free and open to the public.
Opening Reception

Showcase Hours
Weekends: Saturday & Sunday, May 23–24 and May 30–31 | 10 AM–3 PM
Featuring demonstrations, Sail Away Coffee & treats.
Weekdays: Monday–Friday, May 25–29 | 2–7 PM
