About the Artist

Eryk Salvaggio is a young New Media artist working with the internet to create and distribute his art work. He also creates prints based on this work. His main interests are the intersection of art and everyday life, as well as how technology influences life and art in general.

His work has been featured in the New York Times [July 8th, 2002] as well as the New Hampshire Buisiness Review [August 09th 2002]. His "September 11th, 2001" piece was included in the "911+1: The Perplexities of Security" exhibition at Brown University. The University of Denver in Colorado is organizing "Digital Salvage 1.0", a show in response to Salvaggio's "Six Rules for a New Internet Art" that were written as an open letter to the Design and New Media Art Communities.
