About the Artist

I make both sculpture/installations and two dimensional works on paper. I use a variety of organic forms and systems to investigate the nature of relationships and emotional states, as well as issues related to the body. My work has been described variously as humorous, sensual, and meditative. It is also labor intensive and examines ideas about women's work. My materials include fiber, stone, glass, plastic, and various drawing materials including ink, watercolor, charcoal and pastel, etc.
