About the Artist

Poet, Photographer, Digital Artist, Screenwriter, Non-fiction & Fiction Writer, Painter and Teddy Bear designer.

My poetry describes Maine and Russia, and, often, spiritual subjects. It is very accessible, and has a strong musical sense. My Teddy Bears are internationally known, especially in Europe. I've had them produced commercially; my handmade ones are considered art pieces and command "art" prices. My digital art combines photography and poetry in uncommon combinations, with a charming, out-of-time trompe l'oeil effect. My intent is to combine and confound media, words and visuals. I use words as design elements in visual compositions, and try to stretch boundaries of art and literary media. All my work has humor and empathy. Especially the bears.
