About the Artist

I'm a poet and recipient of a Maine Arts Commission grant, which I used to create GOMORRAH, providing lines of poetry to create a narrative from the paitings of Portland artist, Richard Wilson, who has provided art for my books since THE HEBREW LION, 1980 winner of the Maine Arts Commission chapbook competition, selected by Amy Clampitt. Richard Wilson also contributed the cover to my forthcoming collection, THE ORIGINS OF TRAGEDY, from The CavanKerry Press of Fort Lee, New Jersey.
