About the Artist

Dennis Gilbert is a widely published writer who teaches autobiography and creative writing at the University of Southern Maine. His interest in collaborative work has led to the publication of Cormorant Diving (Muse Press) and Insular Harmonies, a multi-media project funded in part by the New England Foundation for the Arts. Dennis has taught story and poetry writing classes in public schools throughout the state. Workshops and residencies are most suitable for self-motivated students at the secondary level.
