About the Artist

This musical partnership from Washington County offers an extensive repertoire of violin and piano music of the 17th - 20th centuries. The artists, who have been playing together for eleven years, are eager to visit any community in Maine to share their music-making. Brubaker is Concertmaster of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra; Biss is active as a composer, having written music for various combinations of instruments including orchestra, electronic media and, most recently, violin and piano.
