About the Artist

I am a painter. I love to help people of all ages do more or less what I do, which is, to discover images which describe what and how I see and feel, and to somehow make some aspect of these images clear to others.
Sometimes this seems deceptively simple, but I think that doing this work honestly is, in fact, very hard. For me, this is the essence of art. My subjects include the visual world that surrounds me, my inner life, and the political events that give me sleepless nights and indigestion.
