About the Artist

Evergreen has been entertaining audiences throughout New England since 1991. Their eclectic musical style blends elements of Bluegrass, folk, old time, country and blues with jazz, swing, rock and continental ethnic traditions in a seamless mix of upbeat, energizing acoustic music that appeals to a wide range of listeners. Smooth, tight harmonies, solid instrumentation, strong songwriting and original interpretations characterize their performances and make this unique band worthwhile listening. Seasoned performers all, Evergreen creates a relaxed, fun atmosphere onstage. They choreograph their show around a single microphone, taking turns fronting the band and giving the audience a chance to get acquainted with each of them. Ever-changing instrumental and vocal blends and good-natured banter onstage keep their performances engaging and fast-paced, and a constantly evolving repertoire keeps their material new and fresh, leaving fans looking forward to their next Evergreen show.
