About the Artist

I have a gallery located in Harpswell, called Round the Corner Gallery. I was in Light Impressions Gallery for 4 years in Rockland. I have written and illustrated children's books about Maine and Florida and they include Come with me to the Sea and Candy the Littest Canada Goose. I wrote my own watercolor book and illustrated it in color called Watercolor Sparkles. This has been popular with the many art students I teach and sells well in stores. I am in the UMO touring gallery, and Birdsnest Gallery in Bar Harbor. I belong to BAACA and my painting is the cernterpiece of their new Aarts and Cultural Map and Guide. My childrens books are state wide in Owl and the Turtle in Camden, Bookland, Apple Valley in Winthrop, Gulf of Maine bookstore in Brunswick, Archipelago in Rockland. I teach watercolor students in my home and go into schools with my books. I do draw a longs in schools with the children in Maine and in Florida.I run slide shows of the animals and birds in myh stories and include parts of my books which includes endangered species and habitat development. One book is on manatees, another on and egret and another about a Great Bllue Heron. They are all illustrated in my washy colorful watercolors.Children love them.
