About the Artist

Annaliese Jakimides is a writer whose essays, short stories and poems have been published from Maine to California. Her most recent work appears in Beloit Poetry Journal, with an essay forthcoming in Mothering magazine. She has taught workshops for teens and adults for a variety of groups including the Young Writers Symposium at Haystack, Schoodic Arts Festival, MWPA and the Voices in the North Country Writers Conference.
