About the Artist

The Bates Dance Festival produces a 6-week contemporary dance and music performance series each July/August at Bates College&#59; a 3-week Young Dancers Workshop (ages 14-18)&#59; a 3-week professional training program in contemporary dance (ages 18 &&&& up)&#59; the Youth Arts Program (a dance &&&& music program for local children ages 6-17)&#59; community outreach events for people of all ages&#59; and provides commissioning and creative time for contemporary choreographers from around the globe.
