About the Artist

My work as an artist evolves as I age. It is like my shadow, always moving in and out, following,sometimes leading me in directions that nurture my soul. I hope my work brings joy to those who stop to view it.

Graduate of RISD in Architecture.

Dicipline: Watercolor and Digital Photography.
Studied watercolor methods as well as other
media and crafts many known artist.(on Monhegan,and in the Caribbean.)

Involved in arts on many levels:

Served as Regional Arts Director for Hancock/Penobscot County 1980s.

Member and officer for Maine
Women in the Arts.

Independent scout for Maine Film Comission.

Co-founder and instructor of Art
Space in Bangor 1970s.

Worked for Abbe Museum and
Penobscot Nation Museum.

Art Director for Job Corp Center
Bangor, Maine 1980s.

Taught many workshops for
teachers about preschool level art.

Works displayed in many juried shows, galleries and in private collections.
Most recently represented by Chaptertwo Gallery in Corea, Maine

Works donated yearly by invitation to
Maine Discovery Museum, Bangor

Served on Board of Directors at Grand Auditorium, Ellsworth, Maine and many
sub committees for 20 years.
Past VP for Board of Directors, Grand Auditorium, Ellsworth, Maine
Currently on the Advisory Board,Grand
Auditorium in Ellsworth

Currently on the Board of Directors,
Maine Center for the Arts,
Univ. of Maine Orono.

Chairman of the Collections Committee,\ Hudson Museum,
University of Maine,Orono

Gives private painting classes on Maine
coast and on the island of Vieques,Puerto Rico.
