About the Artist

We have been presenting a summer classical chamber music series since 1976 in Cornish, Maine. Our mission is to offer the best in music performed by major artists from all over the world. The performance space is an air-conditioned auditorium in the Cornish Elementary School. In the fall and spring we have special events which feature chamber music in a more intimate setting.

We also nurture the musical interests of school-age children through year-long educational programs in the schools.

Each year we sponsor a Youth Music Award competition for high school aged musicians in the fields of classical instrumental and vocal arts. The winner receives prize money and is offered an opportunity to perform in one of our summer concerts.
