About the Artist

River Company is a non-profit professional theatre company producing two plays a year, July and November, at the Skidompha Library, Damariscotta, Maine. Artistic Director is Ann Foskett. The company consists of experienced professional actors and uses high school interns. The company specializes in challenging material, in a minimalist style, in an intimate setting. Foskett also performs with the Mills Girls in "A Century of Song", and "Noel Coward;His Words and Music". She also tours "Take Up The Song", the life and work of Edna St. Vincent Millay; "Anne Hutchinson,Divine Rebel"; and "Both Your Voices Blended", Shakespeare readings and Elizabethan lute songs, with Roxana Gundry.
