Jane Page-Conway

About the Artist

Jane Page-Conway is a Maine-based fine art and documentary photographer who has been making and altering photographic images for over forty years. She is an inquisitive experimenter, open to new technologies and ways of creating an image. She has experience with traditional wet darkroom, alternative printmaking and digital photography. With the shift toward digital media, she has focused on adapting traditional techniques to new experiments. She is currently working with digital infrared photography to capture the surreality of the present moment.

Jane’s photographic work uses unconventional materials to investigate how ideas and aesthetics evolve.
