About the Artist

Welcome! Photography has been a major part of my life for over 25 years. I love all aspects, from the "capture" of the image, to the making of the final print in my darkroom. I specialize in "fine art" photographs of landscape, portraiture, still life, and abstract. I prefer using large format view cameras for the ultimate resolution and perspective control that they allow, and also use medium format cameras, which allow capture of more fleeting photo opportunities. I print my own photographs both in color and archival black and white (selenium toned fiber-based black and white prints). I also mat my own work, using archival materials and mounting techinques. My work has been displayed in 6 one-person shows, and books and magazines.
