About the Artist

Burdick &&&& Associates is a landscape design firm located in Mount Desert, Maine. Our work is based on a belief that the designed landscape, as an instrument of cultural expression, can provide a deeper connection to our surroundings. We approach every project with a commitment to articulating the client''s vision and a passion for building a beautiful and well-crafted landscape.

Services: master planning, planting design, site furnishing design, budget guidelines, construction detailing and supervision, and the development of maintenance manuals.

Current projects: master plans for private estates, residential gardens, public beach access, day care playground.

Specialties: erosion control and repair, coastal wetlands, bioengineering, coastal shoreline restoration, native plants, invasive plants, trees, general ecological restoration, wildflower meadows, wildflower gardens, residential landscapes, garden design, and historic preservation.
