About the Artist

Sandcastle Pottery has been handmade in the State of Maine on the lovely Pemaquid Penisula for 35 years. The patterns that adorn our pottery reflect the beautiful outdoors of Maine. Such as Seashell, Lighthouse, Moose, Loon, Ladyslipper, Lupine to name a few. The unique burlap textured background and matte glaze gives the pottery it's "One of a Kind" rustic look finish. Unlike the common wheel thrown pottery our pottery is slab rolled and hand formed. New stamps are designed and carved every year introducing exciting new patterns.
