I'm a local Maine artist living in the Western Mountains also known as the High Peaks region of Maine. I work in oil and watercolor and pen and ink.
I love Maine landscapes and seascapes, farms , mountains, local landmarks, places with a past, landscapes that are diminishing over time.

I love plein air painting with a palette knife but I'm open to all possibilities and exploring all avenues in search of my own expression and all that Maine has to offer. When I'm not out plein air painting , I work from my studio in New Portland.
