About the Artist
Each summer, musicians from the world’s finest conservatories and ensembles gather at the Bowdoin International Music Festival in Brunswick, Maine on the campus of Bowdoin College. The 2023 Festival takes place from June 26 to August 4.
This season the Festival is delighted to welcome the Aizuri Quartet, Calder Quartet, Imani Winds, JACK Quartet, Jupiter Quartet, and Ying Quartet to the stage; present a special recital by violist Kim Kashkashian; and experience soloists Frank Huang and Joyce Yang performing with the Festival orchestra. Our world-renowned faculty will round out the programming with a variety of exciting new chamber works alongside established favorites. Ticketed concerts are presented on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, along with two Sunday matinées.
In addition, don’t miss dozens of free student performances, masterclasses, and community events. Join us for these unique opportunities to explore chamber music repertoire spanning from the baroque period to today! Tickets and information are available at: www.bowdoinfestival.org/events.
