About the Artist

Alex Sax creates mixed-media narrative installations to share the history of places and peoples with others.Sax explores our relationship to the natural world and examines themes of ownership, exploration and belonging. Sax is also inspired by literature, mythology and folklore which have expanded and enlivened her creative practice to experiment, collaborate, repurpose, remember, and imagine.

The installations include, cast paper, fabric and bronze sculptures, paintings, drawings and an artist book.
