About the Artist

Amy Safford is an award-winning Maine author. Her debut novel, Goode Vibrations of the Wresting Place, won three international literary awards: the 2025 Eric Hoffer Spiritual Fiction and First Horizon Book Awards, and the Independent Publishers IPPY Silver Medal for Visionary/New Age Fiction. She was also named a finalist in the 2024 American Book Fest Visionary Fiction and 2025 Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance Speculative Fiction Awards.

Her fiction blends elements of historical fiction, suspense/thriller, literary fiction, and paranormal for an enticing, thought-provoking reflection on regional history that shapes our lives today. With deep roots in the maritime coast, river valleys, and western hills of Maine, Amy descends from generations of people who settled the pine tree state. She lives in Saco with her husband, Jon.
