H Laura Kneib

About the Artist

H Laura Kneib is an artisan broommaker. She creates her brooms using the traditional methods and skills of settlers and homesteaders in the colonies of early America. She is a fiber artist with spinning and weaving skills as well as a caner of chairs, a potter and master soap maker. Kneib holds a B.A. in Fine Arts with a minor in Environmental Science and has dedicated her life to preserving and teaching heritage skills.
