About the Artist
Angela Coulombe relocated from the US to London in her teens, where she cultivated her artistic vision, earning a BTEC in Art and Design from Brighton College and a BA from Nottingham Trent University. Her academic journey extended to studying Belles Artes at the University of Barcelona, enriching her artistic perspective. Selected for the prestigious John Kobal Portrait Award exhibition with her poignant portrait “Emmanuel,” Angela later documented the pressing issue of air pollution in Mexico City. Honored as one of 25 out of 30,000 “BTEC Students of the Year” by the Duke of Westminster, she has exhibited her work in England, Scotland, Spain, and the US. Now, Angela channels her experiences into painting, exploring themes of grief, resilience, and transformation. Each vibrant canvas reflects her journey and the profound beauty of embracing change. Currently based in Saco, Maine, she continues to draw inspiration from her annual travels to Europe.
