Diana Johnson, Freeport artist, paints in oil and pastels. Her inspiration comes from vibrant and harmonious landscapes that are abundant in Maine. She looks for places that elicit both a sense of rest and rejuvenation. The more a painting seems to emit energy, as if from the paper or canvas itself, the happier she is with the results. Her work is available in Maine through Wiscasset Bay Gallery in Wiscasset and Fore Street Gallery in Portland.
