About the Artist

Janel Spencer-Hagy is a potter and clay artist. She and her hudsband Hal Hagy are the owners of Lucky Dog Gallery set in the coastal foothills of the mid-coast in Rockport, Maine.

Janel offers wheel thrown, functional as well as decorative stoneware and porcelain pottery. She also creates hand built and slab sculptural work. Janel adds natural elements made from clay into her work, such as relief leafs, sea shells and a whale motif. Commissions are welcome.
