About the Artist

A contemporary representational painter focusing on figurative and landscape work, combining the solid recognizable imagery of realist painting with the energy, rhythm, color and paint quality of abstract, expressionist and impressionist painting influence.

The paintings and drawings break down the barriers of physical and spiritual separation, and describe not only the external characteristics of a subject, but the deeper inner essence of the people, nature and environments in our world.

realists and naturalists as Sargent, Zorn, Sorolla, Boldini and Schmid,
Factor's newest work reminds us of the timelessness and power of the human form
in painting, and is testimony to his confidence and skills as a contemporary realist.

Commission portraits, landscapes and combination figure/environment paintings and drawings are also available. Figurative paintings range in subject from nudes and
semi-nudes to multi-figure narratives.
