About the Artist

My name is Amy and i was born and raised in Washington County, Maine.

Educated at Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa. Through Grand View I got to see more than I ever had before. Traveled with the choir singing in Lutheran Churches. Spent all my spring breaks on tour with the choir and can honestly say i would never trade a minute of that for Florida during break. And spent many, many hours with friends in art, designing and learning. Grand View is an awesome school... small college with a big heart for teaching.

I am an artist of many different things... photography, painting, drawing, line art, designer, and on and on...

Moved back to Maine after graduation and started back up Corbett Graphics. The design firm is now run out of my home and will remain that way. Love working at home to be with my cat, Oscar and puppy, Tobi.

In Maine you see and hear things that you don't get to see anywhere else. Bears come up to the porch for caramel popcorn, and squirrels play on my screen in front of my desk when i have not fed them in a timely manner... or when they just want to say hi. Working and living in this place has magic to it... no where else in the world, i have been, can compare to the way of life here and the view here.

I also have extra art education from University of Maine in Machias, Maine.

I was accepted to a college in Rome. I have had painting get honorable mention in shows. Just foundout i am being published again. I had a painting accepted into a Exhibit while in college.
