About the Artist

I make artist books, sculpture, and works on paper that are related to books. I like using materials that have a history, such as discarded library books, outdated school textbooks, damaged-beyond-repair books, and book parts that find their way to me (I repair books for our local library). These objects grab my attention, for their odd, quaint illustrations or text, and especially for the handwritten and hand-drawn additions that have accumulated in their pages over the years.
