About the Artist

I began doing art professionally following a bone marrow transplant to cure my CML (Chronic Myeologenous Leukemia), as I was unable to return to my former duties as a college professor because I was on immuno-suppressive therapy. At this time, I was living in PA. What began as therapy, soon turned into a business, as people began requesting my mats, frames, and commissioned artwork. I do original fairy/angel/cute animal/mermaid/literary watercolor original art, as well as keepsake box, frame, and mat collage art. I always keep the environment in mind, and use as much recycled materials as possible. When my husband accpeted a transfer to Maine, I was thrilled: it would finally be a chance for me to leave my bad memories behind in PA, and start fresh. art
