About the Artist

Nancy Glassman paints Maine landscape and still lives in watercolor, oil, and acrylic. She works responsively and rythmically with colors that are informed by specific light, season and weather conditions. She conveys a sense of place, and makes clear the patterns of nature, while engaging with the qualities of each medium.
She is also available for murals, felt, and mosaic work. With children, she presents a wide repertoire, including art projects related to nature study, and international crafts, in 2-D and 3-D mixed media. She works with teachers to develop art programs related to on-going classroom explorations.
