About the Artist

Swedish oil painter living in Maine. Painting landscapes, still lifes, flowers, fish and portraits, all in an impressionist and expressionist way. My colors are warm and vibrant - the way I want to see the world. My paintings are often autobiographical: the suggestion of a face in tree trunks, a path once taken in the snow. Emotional connection is what interests me most. I paint to celebrate life, to explore the light, to re-examine where my days have taken me.
