About the Artist

Cecilia Clavet-Poulin holds BA in English from the University of Maine at Fort Kent,and an MFA in Fiction from the University of Southern Maine''s Stonecoast Creative Writing Program.

Cecilia--a high school dropout who believed published writers were ""other"" people--started out with her love of words by telling tales of the loup garoux (werewolf) to friends on her street corner, for a penny apiece, or two jujubees.

Cecilia is available to lead or set up Creative Writing Workshops in schools, libraries,or in any other venue, where the focus is on instilling young, and older, aspiring writers with the confidence they need to pursue their writing.
